Gambian wrestler Building of Club Serekunda Mbolo will aim to make it three victories in a row when he takes on Senegalese wrestler Marigo of Club Thies Mbolo on Saturday 15th January 2022, in Thies, Senegal.

Speaking on his preparations ahead of the bout, Building called for financial support from Gambians as he prepares for the fight, noting that to prepare for such a combat in Senegal as a young wrestler is not an easy thing.

“I’m fully ready for the bout both physically and mentally but I need financial support because going to Senegal for a bout is never easy. I'm calling on our authorities starting with Gambian President Barrow, Hon. Bakary Badjie, Ministry of Youth and Sports; National Sports Council, Gambia Wrestling Association, wrestling stakeholders and Gambians at large to come to my aid,” he pleaded.

According to him, he has fans who want to travel to support him but most of them said they cannot afford the fares.

“I will be glad if they are provided with a bus to transport them to and from Thies," he further pleaded.

Serekunda Mbolo wrestler, Building is on an impressive run in the Senegalese Arena, winning three out of four bouts so far. However, this will be his first time of fighting in special combat (before the grand combat) in Senegal and a victory for him will present a great opportunity for him to have a Grand Combat next time out.
