‘We will scuffle to qualify Gambia for AFCON’

Prolific striker, Assan Ceesay they will fight to qualify The Gambia to the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations to be hosted in Cameroon.

He told Capital FM Global Sports that he and his team mates have been talking about the qualifier matches, adding that this is their time to qualify for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations despite being drawn against Gabon, Democratic Republic of Congo and Angola in the qualifiers.

He stated that they will fight tooth and nail to qualify The Gambia for Africa Cup of Nations.

Meanwhile, The Gambia are currently topping group D of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers with 4 points after two group matches.
