WCR zonal tourney quarter-final matches slated for Saturday

The 2021-2022 West Coast Region zonal football tournament quarter-final matches are slated for Saturday 8th January 2022.

 

As part of the last eight fixtures, Brikama will play against Lamin at the SSP football field at 4 pm.

The Sateyba boys finished second-place in Group A with 7 points after winning two matches, drawing one and losing one.

Brikama will vie to beat Lamin in the last eight to progress to the semi-finals of the on-going West Coast Region zonal football tournament.

Lamin finished third-place in Group B with 5 points after winning one match, drawing two and losing one.

The Lamin boys will contend to whip Brikama in the last eight to navigate to the semi-finals of the 2021-2022 West Coast Region zonal football tournament.

Kombo East will host Sanyang at the Kuloro Football Field at 4 p.m. on the same day.

The Kombo East boys finished second-spot in Group B with 6 points after beating Sukuta in their opening group match before drawing with Lamin, Gunjur and Foni in their second, third and fourth group matches respectively.

Kombo East will prepare to flog Sanyang in the last eight to sail to the semi-finals of the tournament.

Sanyang finished third-place in Group A with 5 points after winning one match, drawing two and losing one.

The Kombo South boys will affray to pommel Kombo East in the last eight to advance to the semi-finals of the tournament.

On Sunday 9 January 2022, Brufut will rub shoulders with Sukuta at the Brufut football field at 4 p.m.

Brufut finished top-spot in Group A with 10 points after winning three matches and drawing one.

The Sanimentereng boys will combat to wallop Sukuta in the last eight to progress to the semi-finals of the tournament.

Sukuta finished fourth-place in Group B with 4 points after winning one match, drawing one and losing two.

The Dembadou boys will battle to stun Brufut in the last eight to sail to the semi-finals of the tournament.

Gunjur will lock horns with COSDA at the Gunjur Upper and Senior Secondary School Football Field at 4 p.m. on the same day.

The Coastal Town boys finished top-spot in Group B with 6 points after winning one game and drawing three.

Gunjur will wrestle to beat COSDA in the last eight to progress to the semi-finals of the tournament.

COSDA finished fourth-place in Group A with 4 point after winning one match, drawing one and losing two.

The Coastal Road boys will affray to beat Gunjur in the last eight to advance to the semi-finals of the tournament.
