UTG Law Students’ Premier League: Open University LSA withdraw

The Law Students’ Association of the International Open University (IOU-LSA) team have withdrawn from the Law Students Association of the University of The Gambia (UTG-LSA) annual Premier League, according to news reaching The Point Sports Desk.

The IOU withdrawn from the Premier League after their match against Upper Class of the University of The Gambia (UTG) was called off on Sunday.

The reason behind IOU team’s withdrawal from the Premier League is not known to The Point Sports Desk. 

According to the Ministry of Sports of Law Students’ Association (LSA), the fixture for the other matches will go ahead, only with a few changes which will be communicated as soon as possible.

The Ministry of Sports of Law Students’ Association (LSA) expressed its unflinching commitment to ensure that this year's annual Premier League finish successfully.

Meanwhile, Judiciary humiliated Lower Class 6-0 in their opening match of the annual Premier League played at the Francaise School Football Field in Kanifing on Saturday.
