The Gambia Women's Scorpions duo Mbassey Darboe and Ruggy Joof are both nominated by the Liberia Football Association (LFA) for the Most Valuable Player, Best Foreign Player and Best defender awards respectively.

The midfield maverick Darboe is nominated in two categories by the Liberian Football Association (LFA) as the Women’s Most Valuable Player (MVP) and Best Foreign Player during the 2023-2024 league season.

Mbassey recorded the highest goals contributions in the Liberia's Upper Women's League, scoring 23 goals and assisting 47 times across 26 appearances registering a staggering 70 goals contribution in just 26 matches.

The Gambia Women’s Scorpions captain Ruggy Joof is nominated for the best defender award as she remains solid at the back for the champions.

Ruggy guided the capital based club to their 3rd straight title in a row, conceding the least goals in the process.

Both Mbassey and Ruggy alongside their Gambian compatriot Catherine Jatta were instrumental in helping Determine Girls secure three straight winning championships culminating with their bronze title in the CAF Women's Champions League qualifiers.
