Somalia pulled back one goal in the 52nd minute of the match, which eventually proved to be a consolation for them.
Alieu Drammeh netted the fourth goal for The Gambia in the 76th minute of the match from a glancing header.
Bisenty Mendy scored the fifth goal for the Baby Scorpions in the 88th minute of the match thus the match ended 5-1 in favour of The Gambia.
The Gambia now occupy third-place in Group C of the 2025 Total Energies U-17 Africa Cup of Nations with 3 points after two group matches.
