Mario Co, a general in the Bissau army, played for the Black Stars of Guinea Bissau military and the country’s national team, the Djurtus.
On this very difficult time for Guinea Bissau football, president Lamin Kabba Bajo, on behalf of WAFU Zone A and the GFF, extended his deepest condolences to his counterpart Carlos Alberto Texeira.
He prayed for the departed to rest in eternal peace.
