TMT, Red Scorpion cruise to Women’s FF Cup semis

Today Makes Tomorrow (TMT) and Red Scorpions have navigated to the 2026 Gambia Football Federation (GFF) Women’s FF Cup semi-finals after winning their quarter-final matches on Monday.

TMT defeated Second Division side, Jeshwang United 2-1 in their last eight clash played at the late Ousman Saho Football field in Old Yundum.

Maria Pierra opened the scoring for Jeshwang United in the 9th minute of the match from a brilliant free-kick.

TMT restored parity through Fatou Sonko in the 48th minute from a spot kick.

Sonko netted her second goal for TMT in the 57th minutes from a thunderous strike to complete her brace.

Red scorpions defeated The Gambia Police Force 3-2 on post-match penalty shootouts after regular time ended goalless in their last eight fixture played at the Box Bar Mini Stadium in Brikama.

Koita FC defeated reigning league champions, Berewuleng 4-3 on postmatch penalty shootouts after normal time ended goalless in their last eight tie played at the Bakau Mini Staduim.

Darboe’s FC defeated Gambia Armed Forces 3-1 on post-match penalty shootouts after regulation time ended goalless in their last eight match played at the Brusubi Football Field.
