TMT extend lead at top of Gambian 2nd Division League

TMT FC have extended their lead at the top of the Gambian Football Federation (GFF) Second Division League table standing following their win during their week 28 fixture played on Tuesday.

TMT FC defeated the Gambia Ports Authority (GPA) 1-0 at the Late Ousman Saho Field in Old Yundum.

Malang Jammeh scored the game’s only goal for TMT in the 20th minute.

The triumph maintains TMT FC at the top of the league standing with 56 points, while the defeat dropped GPA to 6th position with 45 points.

Elsewhere, Medical FC narrowly defeated Immigration 1-0 at the Soma Mini Stadium.

Modou Lamin Camara’s 6th minute strike was all but enough to earn Medical FC the maximum points.

The win put Medical FC at 9th position with 41 points, while the defeat dropped Immigration to 10th position with 38 points after 28 games.

Jam City defeated Latrikunda United 1-0 at the Bakau Mini Stadium.

Gibril Jarju was the hero for Jam City, scoring in the 85th minute.

The victory moved Jam City to 4th position with 46 points, while Latrikunda United dropped to 13th position with 34 points after 28 encounters.

Young Africans held BK Milan to a goalless draw during a game played at the Banjul King George 5 Mini Stadium.

With the result, BK Milan dropped to 5th position with 45 points, while Young Africans occupy 16th position with 24 points after 28 matches.
