Remi Mendy opened the scoring for Hawks in the 28th minute before Abdou Jatta sealed the victory for them in the 74th minute.
The Banjul-based team, Waa Banjul finished the game with 10 men after defender Baboucarr Marong was sent off for a second yellow in the 62nd minute.
The win moved Hawks away from rock bottom position to 13th position with 7 points, while Waa Banjul dropped to rock bottom (16th) position with 4 points.
Real de Banjul were held to a goalless draw by Falcons FC during a game played at the Late Ousman Saho Field in Old Yundum.
The result consolidated Real de Banjul lead at the top of the table with 15 points, while Falcons occupy 5th position with 12 points.
