Babun Fatty FC last Thursday defeated Manga 11 United 1-0 in a tricky encounter played at the Serrekunda West Mini Stadium to grab the significant points in the ongoing Serrekunda West Development Organisation (SWSDO) ‘nawettan’.

Babun Fatty FC and Manga 11 United played a very tough encounter during the first half of the match.

Manga 11 United fought hard to beat Babun Fatty FC during the match to clutch the significant three points.

The Manga 11 boys created many goal scoring opportunities but failed to capitalise on them.

Abdoulie Kujabi opened the scores for Bun Fatty in the 67th minute of the match, which eventually proved to be the winner for the Bun Fatty boys.

The victory was a stand-out record in Serrekunda West nawettan.

Head coach of Babun Fatty FC, Abdoulie Badjie, said that it was a nice game and was a game that they really needed.

“We have some players in the team who never had any chance to play since we started the nawattan, so today we filed them.

‘‘The players did very well and won the game.

They played very beautiful match,” Coach Badjie Said.

Babun Fatty FC now secured 12 points, while Manga 11 United clasped 5 points.

Tababi FC defeated Tigers FC in the on-going Serrekunda West Development Organisation SWESO) annual nawettan.

Tababi FC fought for the game to avoid relegation by giving it all out against Tigers FC.

Ebrima Jammeh’s 50th minute strike was all but enough to prevent Tababi FC from relegation.

Head Coach of Tababi FC, Alpha Bah, said the victory was their first win since the start of this year's Serrekunda West nawettan.

"Tigers FC are a big team in Serrekunda West.

‘‘Winning against them is a great result.

‘‘We have been trying so hard, we had a victory today,’’ Coach Bah.

Coach Bah thanked his boys for putting up a great performance to prevent the team from relegation.

Head Coach of Tigers FC, Musa Sanyang, said they came into the match to collect the vital three points as usual but slipped to Tababi FC side.

"Now we are focusing on our next round of the Serrekunda West nawettan because that's a much more difficult one. We will prepare well for our knock out match and we will continue to train well for the next match,’’ Coach Sanyang said.

Tigers Football Club secured 7 points, while Tababi FC snatched 4 points.
