Serekunda West 'Nawettan' update

Blackpool FC suffered another defeat, this time in the hands of Badala United by a lone goal to nil in the ongoing Serekunda West Sports Development Organisation's (SWSDO) summer nawettan.

Lamin Darboe of Balada United scored in the 47th minute of the game, moments after the break.

Abdoulie Jobe, the head coach of Badala United, said that the win was very good and important to them because the win has given a moral boost in the nawettan. "If we happen to lose this game, it may affect our Nawettan season a lot."

He urged his boys to maintain their stance in the rest of the summer Nawettan season.

Samuel Leo Manga, the head coach of Blackpool, described the game as hard luck to his side.

He called on his boys to go back to the field and work harder for their next game.

Badala United lost their first game and won the second while Blackpool suffered back-to-back defeats.

Camel Town FC defeated Kanifing Layout FC 1-0 Modou Lamin Saidy's magnificent strike in the 13th minute earned Camel Town the win on Saturday 21st September, 2024.

Kanifing Layout showcased their dominance during the second half to get their name on the scoresheet after the break but could not capitalize on the chances created.

Ismaila sonko, the head coach of Cambel Town FC, described it as a very good win as they have collected 4 points just like the other 3 teams in their group.

He enjoined his boys to continue working harder to win more games ahead.

Baboucarr Mbaye, the head coach of Kanifing Layout FC, chose not to speak to the media.

Cambel Town FC drew their first game and won their second while Kanifing Layout FC drew their first, won their second and lost their third game.

Pipeline FC eliminated Bundas FC in the Serekunda West Sports Development Organisation's 2024 Nawettan competition following a 1-0 win during a game played on Sunday 22nd September 2024.
