The Gambia National Under-23 team (Scorpions) continue to hone their skills at the Independence Stadium in Bakau ahead of the double-legged qualifiers against the Stallions of Burkina Faso later this month.

The Gambia’s team under the guidance of Coach Abdou Jammeh (T-boy) played some preparatory test games to know their strength and weaknesses before the Burkina Faso match.

The Gambia U-23 team will play its first leg tie in Cotonou on 24th September, where Burkina Faso will host her home match, while The Gambia will take her home match to Morocco a few days later.

Coach Abdou Jammeh (T-Boy) is expected to select a final list of players to represent The Gambia in the qualifiers that he hopes will end up qualifying the country to the Summer Olympic Games in Paris, France next year.
