Gassama was speaking to journalists shortly after his side’s 2-1 defeat to Black Stars KM FC in a tightly-contested final played at the Brikama Box Bar Mini Stadium over weekend.
“My players did well to reach the final but it was not an easy journey,” Coassama said.
“This is the second time that we reached the final but we were not lucky to win the trophy,” Coach Gassama recalled, adding “we won’t give up by the grace of God.”
Head Coach of Star KM FC, Abubacarr Njie Black, expressed delight for winning the trophy for the first time.
Coach Njie thanked his players, technical team, administration and fans for their job well done.
