BK City, Brusubi Extension, D’Promise Land and Coastal Road Giants are all through to the Manjai nawettan qualifiers play-off after winning their fourth round qualifier matches.
BK City advanced the Manjai Sports Association nawettan qualifiers playoff stage after defeating Box Bi FA 1-0 on Sunday.
The Bakoteh-based team showed their prowess to their neighbours, Box BI, as they aim to return to the Manjai nawettan proper following their relegation a few years back.
Brusubi Extension progressed to the the Manjai nawettan qualifiers play-off stage following their 4-2 win over Coastal Road Giants on post-match penalty shootouts after regulation time ended goalless .
The Brusubi-based outfit came into the match with the intention of collecting the maximum points.
Despite their defeat the Coastal Road progressed to the Manjai nawettan qualifier matches after being awarded the best loser’s position.
D’Promise Land FC also progressed to the Manjai nawettan qualifiers play-off stage following their 4-2 post-match penalty shootouts after regular time ended goalless.
The defeat saw Future Stars FC out of the Manjai nawettan qualifier.
Future Stars FC lost best loser spot to Coastal Road Giants FC.
The four best teams that qualified for the play-off stage will now play against last year’s relegated sides.
