Sub-Inspector Ngum left the country yesterday, Thursday, 15th May 2025 for Mauritania to officiate matches at the third edition of West African Football Union (WAFU) Women's football tournament.
Ngum will serve as a central referee during the tournament.
The tournament is expected to begin on 18th May 2025 and finish on 31st May 2025.
Fatou Ngum will serve as a referee and a member of The Gambia Police Force.
She is known for her impartiality, strong knowledge of the rules of the game and excellent communication skills.
Ngum will be joined by her compatriot Abbie Ceesay, who will serve as an assistant referee during the tournament.
She demonstrated her dedication and commitment on the international stage.
