Red Scorpions visit Berewuleng FC, petronise them with D20,000

As part of their commitment in promoting women’s football in The Gambia, Red Scorpions Women’s Football Club recently visited Berewuleng FC at th at the FIFA Goal project in Old Yundum and petronised them with D20,000 for their participating in the WAFU Zone A CAF Women's Champions League qualifiers.

Head Coach and her Assistant Coach led the visit, they met Berewuleng FC, who are currently preparing for their maiden appearance in the WAFU A CAF Women’s Champions League qualifiers.

Red Scorpions’ management, staff, and players presented D20,000 to Berewuleng FC for their participation in the qualifiers.

Receiving the cash, chairman of the fund Raising Committee, Omar Gaye, wished Berewuleng FC all the best of luck, adding that they there to raise Gambian flag high.

Berewuleng FC are expected to leave The Gambia today, Monday, 4 th August 2025 for Thies, Senegal, ahead of their qualifier match.
