Real de Jeshwang, Jatta’s share spoils in Serrekunda West nawettan

Real De Jeshwang and Jatta's FC last Thursday shared spoils in the on-going Serrekunda West Development Association (SWSDO) ‘nawattan’ following their 1-1 draw in a tricky match played at the Serrekunda West Mini Stadium.

Both teams put up a strong performance to collect the maximum points but the match ended 1-1. 

Muhammed Manneh gave Real De Jeshwang the lead in the 62nd minute of the match.

Captain Modou L. Drammeh restored parity for Jatta’s FC in the 79th minute of the match to share the spoils in the Serrekunda West rainy season biggest football jamboree.

Head Coach of Real De Jeshwang, Sanna Jammeh, stated that they prepared well for their match against Jatta’s FC because they needed the maximum points.

Coach Jammeh thanked the community for their efforts and their hard work.

"Sometimes we have issues with the reference but no man is perfect. Everyone makes mistakes, but I am thanking them for everything,’’ Coach Jammeh posited.

Head coach of Jatta's FC, Ousman Touray, stated that their intention was to win the match to navigate to the round of sixteen (16) of the Serrekunda West nawettan but the match failed to produce a winner.

"The problem affecting us is that we don't wake up early. We are always late we will go back to the playing ground and work again for the knockout to give out everything,’’ Coach Touray said. 

Real De Jeshwang FC grabbed 6 points, while Jatta's FC bagged 3 points.
