Real de Banjul were leading Brikama United 2-0 in the first half before the Sateyba Boys levelled matters in the second half to share the spoils.
Alasanna Saidy scored a brace for Real de Banjul in the 2nd and 13th minutes of the match respectively.
Sulayman Njie and Alieu Jammeh for Brikama United in the 36th and 90th minutes of the match respectively.
The draw dashed Real de Banjul's hopes of retaining their league title.
The draw boosted Brikama United's chances of clinching their third league title.
Brikama United have won the country's Elite League title twice in the 2010\2011 and 2018\2019 seasons.
The Sateyba Boys have also won the Gambia's FF Cup in the 2015\2016 season.
Meanwhile, Brikama United have represented The Gambia in the 2011\2012 CAF Champions League but were eliminated in the second round of the continent's elite club competition after losing to Esperance of Tunis 4-2 on aggregate.
