Ambassador Faye was accompanied by the Deputy Head of Mission Saikouba Jarju, Consul Lamin Secka and First Secretary Ebrima Jallow.
Faye commended the team for their performance in their 3-0 win over Sierra Leone.
He encouraged the Queen Scorpions ahead of their next match against Senegal.
Faye emphasised the importance of discipline, reminding the players of their role as ambassadors of The Gambia.
During the visit, captain Ruggy Joof presented her Woman of the Match award to the Ambassador Faye.
Joof expressed the team’s confidence and commitment to secure another victory in their next match.
