Omar Sallah to officiate CR Belouizdad-Sportive Otohô Confederations Cup clash

Gambian referee Omar Sallah is set to officiate CR Belouizdad of Algeria and Association Sportive Otohô of Congo 2025/2026 Confederations Cup clash.

The match will be played at the prestigious Nelson Mandela Stadium in Algiers on 15 February 2026.

Sallah will be assisted by Mustapha Bojang as the first assistant. Guinea-Bissau’s Gilson Joaquim Yaquinanto will be the second assistant.

Mohamed Marigo will be the fourth official.

The appointment of Gambian referees are clear indication of the exponential growth of the refereeing and unwavering trust the continental football governing body (CAF) continues to place in Gambian referees.
