The game’s only goal was scored by Mattar Manga in the 47th minute of the game.
As winners, Miami went home with a giant trophy and a cash price of D15,000 whilst Darusallam FC took home a consolation price of D10, 000 as runners-up.
Meanwhile, the kick-off was taken by General Growth Real Estate Chief Executive Officer Lamin Del Drammeh who graced the final with his delegation.
Ebrima F. Jammeh, head coach of Miami FC, said he was happy winning the trophy. He described the competition as one that they deserved to win. He added that they have been training intensively prior to the game.
Kara Ansumana Gassama, head coach of Darusallam FC, said his team played extremely well despite losing the final. He stated that they lost due to bad officiating from the referee.
