Dr. Bah was elected GSASA's president in March 2022 during The Gambia Swimming and Aquatic Sports Association Elective General Assembly. He replaced Ms Bintou Touray Huma, whose term concluded following the 2020 Olympic Games. Dr. Bah will serve a four-year term in GSASA and CANA Zone 2, ending in 2026.
He led the national team to Dakar to the 8th CANA Zone 2 Swimming and Open Water Competition, winning a bronze medal.
