The 2025 Manjai knockout final between Box Bi and BK Layout over the weekend ended goalless at the Father Gough Sports Complex in Manjai.

The derby final saw brilliant football and spectacular exhibition of skills and talents.

Both sides created numerous goal scoring opportunities but both sides failed to capitalise on them.

Ebrima Ceesay could have opened the scores for BK Layout in the 34th minute of the match but his effort was saved by Box Bi's custodian, Rodoleh Mendy.

Musa Sambou could have opened the scoring for Box Bi before first half but his shot went wide thus the match ended goalless.

Speaking to journalists shortly after the final whistle, head coach of BK Layout, Abdou Karim Bobb, described the performance of his boys as very poor compared to the way they played their previous matches.

Coach Bobb noted that they were going back to their training ground to rectify their mistakes before their replay final against Box Bi.

Head coach of Box Bi, Malamin Touray, believed that their performance against BK Layout in the Manjai knockout final was very good.

"I am happy that Manjai Sports Association rescheduled the final because I want to beat BK Layout in the match not on penalty shootouts," Coach Touray said.

Meanwhile, Manjai knockout replay final is set for Friday 5 December 2025 at the Father Gough Sports Complex in Manjai at 4:30pm.
