League clubs continue training despite new league season delay

League clubs have continued to train in their respective training grounds despite delay of The Gambia's new league campaign.

The country's Division One and Two League competitions are set to start this week but competition department of the GFF decided to call off all matches due to lack of football fields.

League clubs are training hard to reinforce their squads before the commencement of the new league season.

Some league clubs are currently playing pre-season matches to improve on their weaknesses ahead of the country's new league campaign.

Real de Banjul will fight hard to defend their league crown.

The Gambia Ports Authority, Medina United and Samger will all scuffle to win their league matches to stay in the First Division League for another season.

The trio gained promotion to the country's Elite League last season after their stunning performances in the Second Division League.

The Gambia Armed Forces, Marimoo Pakfood and Banjul United will all brawl to win their matches to regain promotion to the First Division League after demotion to the Second Division League last season.
