SJAG embraces national seminar on Sports Bill next month

Sports Journalists' Association of The Gambia (SJAG) is set to hold a national seminar on Sports Bill next month.

The seminal is designed to deconstruct the bill's provisions for the benefit of the entire sports ecosystem in the country.

The seminar will bring together sports journalists, national sports association executives, athletes, coaches and government officials.

President of SJAG, Omar Jarju, stated that the Sports Bill is a very important document, adding that it would shape the future of sports agenda and it is vital voices of key players in driving sports excellence are heard in its creation.

"The session will feature a panel of veteran and seasoned sports administrators who will provide deep, insightful analysis and lead conversations on the bill's practical implications.

It is potential to transform our sports landscape and collaborate path required for its successful implementation," Jarju said.

Jarju stated that SJAG remains dedicated to its role as a key stakeholder in the development of sports in The Gambia.

"We believe that an informed community is essential for successful implementation. We call on all partners to support this vital initiative," Jarju explained.
