The Sannehmentereng Boys surrendered the West Coast Region zonal football tournament trophy to Foni last year after slipping the Foni Boys 2-1 in a tightly-contested final played at the Brikama Box Bar Mini Stadium.
Brufut came for revenge against Foni to lift the 2025 West Coast Region zonal Super Cup trophy.
The Sannehmentereng Boys started the match brightly and made some occasional goal scoring attempts.
Malang Conteh opened the scores for Bufut in the 21st minute of the match from a stunning strike.
Foni responded back for an equaliser and levelled matters through Momodou Jaiteh in the 22nd minute of the match thus the first half ended 1-1.
Upon resumption of the match, gaffer Ebrima Gaye and his Brufut charges maintained their composure and mounted pressure on Foni, creating goal scoring opportunities.
Striker Omar Jarju scored the second goal for Brufut in the second half to earn the Sannehmentereng Boys their first West Coast Region Super Cup trophy.
As champions, Brufut were decorated with medals, a giant trophy and a cash prize of D50,000 while Foni received medals and D40,000 as runners-up.
The West Coast Region zonal Super Cup final was graced by Yankuba Darboe Chairman of Brikama Area Council (BAC) and other important dignitaries.
