Lamarana Jallow joins Sporting Lisbon

Gambian U-20 attacker Lamarana Jallow has signed for Portuguese topflight side Sporting Lisbon.

 

The 19-year-old who left Elite United in the Gambian premier league will feature in the Sporting Lisbon U23 team before elevated into the first team.

Lama as he is fondly called, is a box-to-box player. He signed his professional deal with Sporting Lisbon on Monday 20th September 2021.  

“First of all, I want to thank Sporting CP for the opportunity to play for a club with so much history. It’s nice to sign for the club which is the reigning Portuguese champion. I am very happy to be part of this family where great players have taken their first steps,” said Lamarana Jallow after signing.
