Fortune FC return home after CAF Champions League exit

Fortune FC on Monday returned home from Setif, Algeria following their exit from the 2021-2022 CAF Champions League preliminary round.

 

Petroleum boys, Fortune FC slipped to ES Setif 5-4 on penalties after both legs ended 3-3 on aggregate.

Fortune FC thrashed ES Setif 3-0 in the firs-leg tie played at the Independence Stadium in Bakau on 11 September 2021 before slipping to the Algerian side 3-0 in the second-leg played in Setif on 19 September 2021.

The petroleum boys will now prepare themselves fit and ready for the 2021-2022 Gambia Football Federation (GFF) Division One League following their elimination from the continent’s elite football club competition.
