Kunkujang Friends cruise to WCR 3rd Division League final

Kunkujang Friends FC on Saturday defeated Misera United 5-4 on post-match penalty shootouts after regulation time ended goalless in a tightly-contested final played at the Brikama Box Bar Mini Stadium to sail to the 2024\2025 West Coast Regional Third Division League final.

Both sides were enthusiastic to beat each other to advance to the West Coast Regional Third Tier final but regular time ended goalless.

This pushed the match into post-match penalty shootouts, which ended 5-4 in favour of Kunkujang Friends FC.

The win earns Kunkujang Friends FC a spot in the final of the 2024\2025 West Coast Regional Third Division League.

Misera United will now hang their boots until next season after slipping to Kunkujang in their semi-final match of the West Coast Regional Third Tier.
