Jam City miss chance to surpass Samger in 2nd Division League

Jam City on Sunday missed the chance to surpass Samger in the 2020-2021 Gambia Football Federation (GFF) Division Two League after their 1-1 draw with Serrekunda East Bi in their week-sixteen clash played at the Real De Banjul Football Academy Field at Basori.

The Jambanjelly based-club missed the opportunity to surpass the Academy boys in the country’s second tier despite Samger drawing their week-sixteen outing in mid-week.

Jam City were enthusiastic to pound Serrekunda East Bi to grip the vital three points to surpass Samger in the second division league but the match ended 1-1.

The Jambanjelly based-club remained third-place in the country’s second division league with 29 points after 16 league matches, while Serrekunda East are with 16 points in sixteen league matches.

Jam City will now play against Gunjur United in their week-seventeen tie on Wednesday at the Real De Banjul Football Academy Field in Basori at 4 p.m.
