Immigration record biggest win, BST & TMT continue race at top in GFF 2nd tier

Immigration FC have recorded the biggest win of the season, while TMT and BST Galaxy both registered wins to continue their challenge at the top during their week-10 fixtures of the GFF Second Division League played on Tuesday.

Immigration thrashed Kuteh Jumbulo 7-0 during a game played at the Jarra Soma Mini Stadium.

Yusupha Ceesay scored a hat-trick, Ousman Jarju a brace while Mbackeh Kijera and Surahata Jabang each scored one for the security outfit to inflict the highest defeat of the season on the URR based side. 

The massive victory moved Immigration to 4th position with 17 points, while Kuteh Jumbulu maintained (18th) position on the table with 5 points.  

TMT beat Jam City 3-2 during a game played at the KG5 Mini Stadium in Banjul.

Robert Mendy gave TMT an early lead while Gibrel Camara added a second in the 23rd minute.

Ismaila Camara’s double strike (a brace) leveled the game for the Jambanjelly-based team (Jam City) but Malick Mboob scored a 90+2 minutes penalty for TMT to ensure they collect the maximum points.

The triumph tentatively moved TMT at the top of the table standing with 21 points, while Jam City occupy 6th position with 15 points.  

BST Galaxy defeated Bombada 2-1 away during a game played at the Brikama Box Bar Mini Stadium.

Lamin Tamba gave Bombada an early lead in the 7th minute. BST Galaxy replied through Modou Lamin Kanteh and Lamin Sarr’s goals.
