Hawks boot Medina United out of FF Cup

Hawks have kicked Medina United out of the 2024\2025 Gambia Football Federation (GFF) FF Cup competition.

The Red Devils thumped the Medina Boys 2-0 in their round of thirty-two (32) fixture played at the Hawks Football Field in Kabakel on Tuesday.

Paul Foon and Alagie Wally scored for Hawks in the first half of the match.

Medina United responded, created goal scoring opportunities but failed to materialise on them thus the match ended 2-0 in favour of Hawks.

The victory earns Hawks a place in the round of sixteen (16) of the annual FF Cup competition.

The defeat saw Medina United out of the yearly GFF FF Cup competition.

The Medina Boys will now switch their attention to the GFF Second Division League matches after their elimination from the FF Cup competition.
