Haggie Gai Drammeh Foundation donates table tennis, learning items to Gunjur SSS

Hagie Gai Drammeh Foundation through Krish Roopnarine and family yesterday donated table tennis and educational materials to Gunjur Senior Secondary School.

The equipment were recently donated to Hagie Gai Drammeh Foundation by Krish Roopnarine and family from Canada

The materials were distributed to various schools across regions in the country.

The donation items included table tennis rackets, balls, school bags, pens, and water bottles.

The donation is aimed at encouraging learning and students participation in sports.

 Hagie Gai Drammeh Foundation's mission is to create opportunities for young people across The Gambia and promote inclusion, education, talent development and healthy lifestyles through sports.

Appreciation from students and staff at Gunjur Senior Secondary School reminds the Foundation why community support and youth empowerment are important.

Hagie Gai Drammeh Foundation believe that sports can unite communities, build confidence and inspire the next generation to dream bigger.

Students are not only learning a new sport but also developing discipline, teamwork, focus and self-confidence.

Hagie Gai Drammeh Foundation reaffirmed its commitment to reach out to schools and communities nationwide with programmes that positively impact the lives of children, more especially young people and persons with disabilities.

"We would continue to build a stronger, inclusive and future for The Gambia," Hagie Gai Drammeh Foundation said.

The authority of Gunjur Senior Secondary School expressed appreciation to the donors for the gesture.

The school authority presented two certificates and a letter of appreciation to Hagie Gai Drammeh Foundation.

The school leadership also presented one certificate to the donors Krish Roopnarine and family.
