Gunjur pound Kunkujang to sail to KSD tourney semis

Gunjur on Sunday battered Kunkujang 3-0 in their quarter-final match played at the Sifoe Football Field to navigate to the semi-finals of the 2023 Approve Services (APS) sponsored Kombo South District football tournament.

The Coastal Town boys defeated Kachumeh 2-1 in their round of sixteen tie before locking horns with Kunkujang in their last eight outing.

Gunjur scored three goals in the match without Kunkujang replying to sail to the last four of the annual Kombo South District football tournament.

The defeat saw Kunkujang out of the yearly Kombo South District football tournament.

Gunjur will now rub shoulders with Tanji in the semi-final of the annual Kombo South District football tournament after eliminating Kunkujang.
