GPA: one of Gambia’s most productive Football Clubs

Gambia Ports Authority (GPA) football club is one of Gambia’s most productive football clubs after producing many endowed players for the country’s national teams.

The club was formed in 1973 and currently playing their trade in The Gambia’s top flight league.

They won three league titles and several FF cup crowns and participated in the CAF champions league, cup winners cup and Confederations cup.

Gambia Ports Authority was branded for their brilliant styles of football and produced one of the finest players for the country’s national teams.

Meanwhile, the ferry boys were occupying sixth position in the 2019-2020 Division One league standings with 20 points after fourteen outings before the covid-19 brought the league to a hold.
