Pressure from delegates of the Gambia National Olympic Committee (GNOC) for the 2023 Annual General Meeting have again led to the postponement of the meeting for the second time due to what they described as a "personal coup d’etat of the GNOC constitution by the executive.”

The delegation who unanimously agreed to postpone the Annual General Meeting gaven another chance to the GNOC to put their house in order.

According to the delegates, they are again rejecting the GNOC president’s decision to proceed with her proposed agenda due to her "personal coup d’etat of the GNOC constitution.

The delegates said the GNOC executive must respect their request if they are to approve the AGM’s agenda, adding that their request is to know the activity plan for the budget and also the appointment of the electoral board as stated in the constitution.
