GNOC confirms participation of 14 athletes in African Youth Games

The Gambia National Olympic Committee has confirmed the participation of fourteen (14) young athletes in the 2025 ANOCA African Youth Games to be hosted in Luanda, Angola.

The games will begin on10th December 2025 and finish on 20th December 2025.

Athletics will form the biggest number of athletes with ten (10) young stars.

The young stars are ready to shine and make history in the Africa Yiuth Games.

Five boys and five girls will contest on the track.

African U-18 beach volleyball champions will represent with two athletes.

They will be looking to improve from their 2018 bronze medal glory.

Judo and Badminton will all field one athlete each at the games.

The delegation will be led by GNOC Chef de Mission Salifu Touray and president of The Gambia Tug of war Association.
