“It has come to the attention of the Gambia Football Federation (GFF) that some members of the public are using the recent successes of the Under 20 national team to organize fundraising and other commercial purposes,” the Football House states in statement.
The GFF warned individuals and organisations who are using pictures of the Gambia Under-20 or any other national team brand for commercial purposes to desist from such acts or face prosecution.
“If anyone or group of people wish to do any fundraising, you must write to the Gambia Football Federation through the General Secretary with your address and contacts,” added GFF.
According to GFF, their office is always open for partnership, adding that the marketing committee is more than willing to support any initiative meant to uplift the country’s football. It therefore, called on people to follow proper protocol.
