Serrekunda West have therefore navigated to the semifinals of the 2022 Gambia Football Federation (GFF) super ‘nawettan’ zonal football championship.
The Westside boys and the Sateyba boys came into the match each with the objective of defeating the other to advance to the last four of the annual super nawettan zonal football tournament but regular time failed to produce a winner.
This pushed the match into a post-match shootout, which ended 7-6 in favour of Serrekunda West.
The win has earned Serrekunda West a spot in the semifinals of the 2022 GFF super nawettan zonal football championship.
The defeat saw Brikama out of the annual super nawettan zonal football tournament hence they will now hang their boots until next year.
