‎The organising committee of the Gambia Football Federation (GFF) over the weekend suspended Greater Tomorrow female team for three years.

The GFF organisation committee also suspended some players and officials of the Brikama based-team.

According to the Organising  committee, the players and officials were fully responsible for the withdrawal of the club from the 2025/26 football league season.

‎The Organising Committee stated that after reviewing the match reports; Greater Tomorrow female team failed to  honour their scheduled matches which led to withdrawal of the team.

They further stated that certain players and technical staff  of Greater Tomorrow refused to play their match.

According to the GFF, the subsequent boycott of scheduled national league matches was regrettable and unacceptable.
