TMT beaten in GFF 2nd Tier

Current Gambia Football Federation (GFF) Second Division League leaders, TMT FC were surprisingly beaten during their week-19 fixture played on Tuesday.

 

 

Kuteh Jumbulu surprisingly defeated TMT FC 2-1 during a game played at the Soma Mini Stadium.

Alieu Kora opened the scoring for Kuteh Jumbulu in the 13th minute but Yahya Ndong leveled for TMT FC in the 17th minute. However, Abdoulie Manneh gave back Kuteh Jumbulu the lead in the 38th minute which eventually provided to be the winner and earned them remarkable maximum points.

The win maintained Kuteh Jumbulu on 18th position with 13 points while the defeat also kept TMT FC at the top of the table standing with 35 points.

Elsewhere, Bombada FC beat Kanifing East 1-0 during a game played at Box Bar Mini Stadium in Brikama.

The result now leveled both teams on the same points (24), with Kanifing East sitting ahead on 9th position and Bombada on 10th position.

Meanwhile, Elite United and Jam City played a barren goalless draw during a game played at the Live Your Dreams Sports Academy in Basori.

The result puts Elite United on 4th position with 33 points while Jam City occupy 4th position with 30 points.
