Gambia Women’s U-20 team begin training for FIFA U-20 qualifiers

The Young Female Scorpions will open their campaign at home to Burkina Faso on Friday 24th September, 2021 at the Independence Stadium in Bakau with the return leg slated for the 8th October, 2021 in Ouagadougou.

The team under coach Foday Bah began training on Wednesday 27 July at the National Technical training centre in Old Yundum with a provisional list of 35 girls which will be trimmed to an official number.

The team currently trains three times a week and is lined up to have series of test games before their opening leg qualifier next in a month's time.
