Gambia U-17 start proper training ahead of U-17 Africa Cup of Nations

The Gambia U-17 team yesterday started proper training ahead of the 2025 Total Energies U-17 Africa Cup of Nations at the National Technical Training Centre in Old Yundum.

Coach Yahya Manneh, who completed player screening exercise last week, is now training with thirty (30) players.

The Baby Scorpions will continue their local preparations on both tactical and technical aspect with a view to form a collective and formidable squad to participate in the 2025 Total Energies U-17 Africa Cup of Nations.

The Gambia U-17 team have been paired with Senegal, Somalia and Tunisia in Group C of the continent’s cadet biggest football showpiece.

The Baby Scorpions will fight to win all their group matches to cruise to the quarter-finals of the 2025 Total Energies U-17 Africa Cup of Nations.
