Gambia U-17 entertains GPA in friendly today

The Gambia U-17 team will entertain Gambia Ports Authority in a friendly match today, Thursday at the National Technical Training Centre at 8 a.m.

The Darling Scorpion thrashed Tallinding United, Samger, Latrikunda United and Gamtel in their previous test games prior to their encounter with the ferry boys, who are bracing up for the 2020-2021 Gambia Football Federation (GFF) Division One League season set to begin soon.

Coach Abdoulie Bojang and his charges will use their warm up matches against league clubs to prepare themselves fit for the 2020 West Africa Football Union (WAFU) Zone A U-17 football tournament. 

Meanwhile, the sub-regional football tournament will serve as qualifiers for the 2021 Africa U-17 Youth Championship to be hosted in Morocco.
