The Gambia will be represented in the championship by international wrestlers Babacarr Mboge and Gibriel, coach Seedy Chorr.
The duo's participation and their coach’s trip is funded by the Gambia National Olympic Committee (GNOC).
The delegation left Banjul International Airport on Wednesday 17th May 2023, at 2:30am with Royal Air Maroc flight 578 to Tunis via Casablanca.
They were expected to arrive in Tunis yesterday, Wednesday.
Wrestlers Babacarr Mboge and Gibriel Chow recently represented the country in the ECOWAS African Wrestling Championship in Niamey, Niger, where they won gold and silver respectively.
