Anisa Sojka went undefeated in five online matches of AAA Cup 2025, winning her group and two knockout rounds. All were decided through open voting on the Super-Hair site.
The "AAA" stands for Africa, Asia and Australasia. Sixteen nations competed in the tournament, each represented by only one outstanding hairstyle. Sojka's selection was based on her country of origin.
Sojka defeated defending AAA Cup champion Disha Patani of India in the Championship Final, gaining praise in online comments for her luxurious long hair. In fact, Sojka has her own line of hair products based in London.
This was The Gambia's first appearance in any Super-Hair tournament. But Sojka has received four nominations in the last two years for Crown Awards, which honor the outstanding hairstyles of the year.
Sojka's success means The Gambia will have a place in Super-Hair World Cup VII in 2026. That tournament will be similar to the AAA Cup, but with entries from throughout the world.
