Gambia National Women's team eliminate Niger in AWCON qualifiers

The Gambia National Women's team eliminated Niger in ongoing CAF TotalEnergies Africa Women's Cup of Nations (AWCON) qualifiers, Morocco 2026 played at the Stade Lat Dior yesterday.

Mbassey Darboe and Fatou Kanteh were on target for the Queen Scorpions.
The Queen Scorpions completed a double over Niger to advance to the next round of AWCON qualifiers with a 4-1 win on aggregate

The Queen Scorpions defeated Niger 2-0 in the first leg of the qualifiers played in Niamey on Wednesday.
