The tournament is expected to begin on 18th August 2025 and finish on 31 August 2025.
The Deaf Scorpions won the trophy in a similar tournament in 2021 held in Banjul.
The Deaf Scorpions are ready to bring home the gold again.
To make this dream a reality, The Gambia Deaf Scorpions are soliciting support from all Gambians to participate in the championship.
A budget of 5 million dalasi is required to cover all expenses for the 27 selected athletes.
The Gambia Deaf Scorpions called on government QCELL, Africell Comium, stakeholders and individuals to support them for participating in the championship.
Meanwhile, the Deaf Scorpions will represent the country at the third athletic championship to be staged in Nigeria.
