Domestic League season starts December 10th

The Gambia Football Federation (GFF) Domestic League season is set to begin on 10th December 2025.

The country's league campaign was initially expected to commence early November 2025 but due to lack of football fields, the GFF decided to suspend the league.

League champions, Real de Banjul will contend to retain the country's Elite League title but will face stiff competitions from Fortune FC, Brikama United and Hawks for the 2025\2026 league crown.

Gambia Ports Authority, Medina United and Samger will all scuffle to stay in the country's Elite League for another season after gaining promotion to the First Division League last season.

AJ Soccer FC, North Star Football Academy and Sibanor United will all fight hard to survive in the Second Division League for another season after gaining promotion to the country's Second Tier last season.
